Here is an example of the first coat on this bridge.

On this side of the bridge it has the finish coat. Colored oxides were added into the finished coat.

 Water Features

Lion Head Fountain



This Lion Fountain was created on a wall made up of a wire armature. The wall was then plastered with Cement Clay. I also placed mirrors in the wall to create the illusion of holes in the wall. I later sculped this fountain. The light and images that the mirrors capture make the garden dance.



 



 

Pantry Floor

I created it by first sealing the wood and the lower part of the sheet rock with concrete adhesive, next I used a pencil to sketch a pattern on the floor, then I sculpted the grape clusters using sheet metal cut to the height I wanted my finished floor to be and let it harden over night.

Next I formed the vines, tendrils and the veins in the leaves, using the sheet metal to determine the correct height, then let it set overnight. Then I sculpted the leaves and let them set. Finally I started filling in around the design until I completely filled in the floor. I filled in the right side first and let harden then the left so I had plenty of room to work.

I used concrete colorant that I found at a cement supplier to color the cement clay in my pattern. I let it dry completely, and then coated the floor with multiple coats of a polyurethane sealant for concrete or use a natural wax.

Interior Walls

I used Cement Clay as a wall coating in this bathroom to create this beautiful effect.

I used two shades of red pigment, each mixed in the Cement Clay to create this effect.
